From Hair to there: Ombre Hair

I have to admit I have been in love with 'faded'/ 'two toned' ends/hair for a while lol

I didnt even know there was a word for it haha...Ombré

I have finally given the green light (in my head....to myself....lol)
I have been looking around of places who could revamp my hair. I do have few places in mind in Auckland.
But nothing like my own place.
Yes, being from NZ, the home of DIY. I thought lets continue playing around with my hair like I always have been.
From coloring them to cutting them myself.
How hard can it be?
Ive bleached & colored my hair at home before, with pleasing results.
Back in 2009, I bleached the bottom part of my head (looks great in a pony tail) but had to darken it a little bit as some bits were yellow-wy blonde. Not a good look acc to my bf, but me & my bestie thought I rocked it HAHA

Over the next few weeks (hopefully sooner, if I can manage time better with all the over flowing assignments), I will be DIY-ING ombre hair @ home. So will have before and after shots. Plus a post on how to =)

One of my favorite indian actresses: kareena Kapoor has been rocking ombre hair before even the trend began!

Rules to Dress by

I came across this really cool blogger today: Her name was lola. Thats where I found this 'rules to dress by'.

Super cool 'rules'. Altho to me fashion and style have no rules. no boundaries.
I love asymmetric-ness. unusualality. weirdness.uncommon.bizzare. styles lol
Kandee Johnson, isn't afraid to take the other route either. I love her. She's a Gem.
I hope to meet her one day =)

sigh*
Enjoy this for today.
M back o doing assignments. and more assignments. #studentlife

My hair: an adventure everyday

My brunette hair type is med-thick, curly. I love it. I remember going through a phase where I wasn't enjoying the beauty of curls so much. I didn't know how to style my hair for school, without putting too much time into it, and/or straightening it. I didn't even use much products cos I was skeptical and didnt want to damage my hair. Even now, I dont straighten my hair as much cos I dont want to damage t too much:P. (Hippie beliefs I tell u haha).
Anyways, So I realised it wasnt my hair. It was the hair cut. Over the years Ive figured out types of haircuts that would suit my kind of hair. Layering (correctly) is the key. Plus a product is a must, for it to look tamed!!
Ive come to terms with my hair, and it is an adventure everyday when I wake up. My hair never looks the same. My curls dont look the same every time either. It depends on what I do and How I do everything from the time I step out of the shower.

There is no beauty without a little strangeness and I love how my hair is SO strange haha
There is only one of YOU. Embrace YOU.

Tie me up with glitter

So finally after many failed & lazy-attempts at trying to blog, I finally have decided and made a solid (semi) attempt to post my first blog.
This is a result of me luring over various glittery & leopard shoes that I can't afford. Well I can but that would mean most of my pay would be gone =)
But none the less, I can dream about them and find a cheaper pair or may be even DIY hhhmm...
